INTRODUCTION Chronic pain impacts an estimated 20% of adults globally.1 Chronic back pain and leg pain are recognized to place significant burdens on both patient quality of life (QoL) and healthcare system resources.2, 3 Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) is a highly effective and established minimally invasive and non-pharmacologic treatment indicated as an aid in the management of chronic, intractable pain of the trunk and/or limbs.
