Emma Boslet’s green hair isn’t an Eagles reference. But she’s willing to say it is.
“I don’t watch football,” she admitted, “[but] I’m going to say yes, because I’m in Philly.”
It’s just the St. Joe’s senior’s favorite color, the reason why she’s sporting a new look this year — fitting, as she’s filling a new role for the Big 5 favorites.

Trevor Wall had a decision to make. He could return to Ursinus for his final year of eligibility, or he could find a different school – perhaps at the Division I level – to play his last season of college basketball. Wall, a 6-foot-3 senior guard and St. Joseph’s Prep graduate, elected to return to the place that he has grown to love.

Drexel University women’s head coach Amy Mallon was happy to make history.
Mallon has been around the Big 5 as a player and assistant at St. Joe’s, but never got the chance to compete in the city’s long-running hoops series in her 21 years with the Dragons.

When Luke Bevilacqua arrives at Lafayette next year, he’ll have a head start with a couple of his teammates.
He’s already familiar with Mark Butler, who he played with two summers ago for Philly Pride’s 17U squad, the former Penn Charter point guard and current George School senior big man getting a chance to develop some on-court chemistry for an offseason. He goes back even further with fellow Leopards commit Shareef Jackson — all the way to sixth grade.
