Congratulations on being included in La Liste 2025 for the second consecutive year. How does it feel? It feels incredible to maintain such a high score in La Liste. The scoring system is unique in that it’s almost a summary of how restaurants are ranked over an entire year across so many reputable lists. It’s an interesting take on restaurant rankings, but, like everything, you have to take it with a pinch of salt and humility. Pine scored an impressive 87.5 out of 100.

Washington-based Visuna is on course to almost double its turnover in just three years and aims to double its Wearside workforce in the coming year. Having recorded a turnover of just over £42 million in 2021, since rebranding from Oil Consultants Ltd in 2022, Visuna’s turnover has seen notable increases every 12 months.

Lifting and inspection specialists, JK Lifting, is setting its sights on a £10 million turnover in the next five years, following significant investment. The firm has recently opened the doors at its new site on Camperdown Industrial Estate – previously the HQ of construction firm Metnor – and renamed the building Lift Point House. As part of the move, the firm has invested over £180,000 in remodelling the premises, including the installation of an overhead crane.
