    BOISE, Idaho - An 18-year-old man faces multiple felony charges after police say he robbed a Boise business at knifepoint and was later found with illegal drugs. Vincent Cummings was arrested June 4 in connection with an armed robbery that occurred three days earlier at a business on South Cole Road, according to Boise police. Investigators say a suspect entered the store around 4:30 p.m. on June 1, approached two employees with a knife, and demanded money from the register.

    CALDWELL, Idaho - The Caldwell Fire Department issued an immediate burn ban within Caldwell city limits on Thursday due to dangerous fire conditions. Recent high temperatures and low humidity levels have led to an increased wildfire risk, according to the department. "The combination of dry conditions and elevated temperatures has significantly heightened the threat of wildfires in our area," said Alan Perry, Deputy Chief of Fire Prevention.

ISP reported on Friday that the driver of one of the involved vehicles had a blood alcohol content of 0.20, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08, when the crash occurred on May 1 on U.S. Highway 20 near Henry's Lake.

    ADA COUNTY, Idaho - Ada County Paramedics Chief Shawn Rayne announced he will retire this October, concluding nearly three decades of emergency medical service. Rayne, who began his career with Ada County Paramedics in 1995 following four years in the U.S. Army, rose through the ranks from paramedic to chief. "I grew up in Ada County and knew that I wanted to spend my life and raise a family here, giving back to the place I call home," Rayne said.
