Share “On the morning of July 4, 2024, a female resident of the health care facility reported that [Meza] had come into her room and engaged in sexual contact with her and continued to do so after she told him to stop,” according to state records. Meza is facing multiple felony charges; court records show he is due for a pre-arraignment conference on November 13. According to RIDOH, they conducted their own investigation into the allegations.

Share Police were called to Chambers Street off of Huntington Avenue shortly after 3 AM on Sunday for a report of a person with a gun. When police arrived, they said they met with two individuals, who said there had been a fight with a neighbor. One of the victims said he had been talking with a friend in his front yard when his neighbor - later identified as Cary Greene - came out of his house with a rifle.

ShareThe Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) has suspended the license of a nursing assistant who was arrested for allegedly assaulting an elderly patient.According to RIDOH, Lovely Soloe was charged this May for assault on a person over 60 - a felony - stemming from an incident in April. She is also facing a felony patient abuse charge.

ShareAccording to RISP, at approximately 6:52 PM on Sunday, members of the Hope Valley Barracks responded to a three-car crash on Route 95 North in the Town of Exeter. The initial investigation revealed that a 2011 Honda Accord had broken down on Route 95 North and was being towed by a 2024 Toyota Highlander. The Toyota and the Honda reportedly entered the first lane of travel of Route 95 North while operating at a slow rate of speed.
