Earlier in March, I spent eleven days in Spain. While I was there on vacation, I couldn’t help but notice the excellent outfits that abounded. I’m no Bill Cunningham, clearly, so you’ll have to take my word for a lot of it. The trip started in Barcelona, then San Sebastián, a day in Bilbao, and wrapped in Madrid. I’ll note where I noticed each trend, for historical accuracy. And when possible, I’ll include Spanish brands for your browsing pleasure, though the majority of items will be secondhand.

Here’s the goal:Context:• The “teams” in the bracket are bears (it’s for a nonprofit project ). • The “competition” is based on which bear hibernates the longest. • Bears are split into 6 sanctuary locations, with 27 bears participating. The Challenge:• Round 1: Users select two winners from the initial participants at each match (groups of 3 or 4 bears).

With all eyes on Washington, it’s critical that Portland voters also take time to get informed about our local ballot. A full third of our City Council will turn over. No incumbent is running for reelection. And so, this election will be very consequential as our community works to address significant challenges and opportunities. Will we elect centrist candidates who will work on the issues together with the community and their colleagues, validating varying viewpoints?

The report, titled “Q3 2024 Eastside Office Market Overview,” shows the region hitting a two-decade vacancy rate high of 20.2 percent. Additionally, availabilitysaw a modest decline from 24.4 percent in 2023 to 23.8 percent as of the third quarter.
