    Barbara Tucker, a longtime Toledo Public Schools foreign languages teacher and community leader, died June 6 at her Toledo home. She was 83. She suffered from age-related health conditions, her son, Allen Tucker said. Mrs. Tucker retired in 2000 from TPS, where she taught German at Bowsher High School for 20 years. Before that, she taught French at the former Robinson Junior High School for at least 10 years. “She was a very devoted and passionate teacher,” Mr. Tucker said.
