After 30 years, a veteran is reunited with a painting gifted to him by an Oklahoma Native American Icon, after it was discovered in a damaged storage unit by an Oklahoma lawmaker. “It says, ‘To Eugene Big Soldier” said Senator Mary Boren (D-Norman). Senator Boren stumbled upon this work of art created by a legend. “And then it says ‘Senator Kelly Enoch Haney,'” said Boren.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — It was a late night for lawmakers on Thursday after they overrode a majority of Governor Kevin Stitt’s vetoes. “I think the shocking part is the governor vetoing all those bills,” said Senator Brenda Stanley, (R-Midwest City). Senator Stanley is still floored by Governor Kevin Stitt’s 68 vetoes, a record in state history. On the last day of session, the two chambers worked together to override 47 of them.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – According to the American Heart Association, someone in the U.S. suffers from a heart attack every 40 seconds. In fact, a heart doctor told News 4, heart disease is the number one killer of women. As they age, their chances of a heart attack increases. “Ordinarily, I would’ve said, ‘You know what? When it’s time to go it’s time to go.’ But you don’t have to go prematurely,” said Aleshia Moore. Moore is now taking better care of her health.
