POTTSTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Rescue crews were on the Schuylkill River Sunday night in Pottstown, searching for a missing boater near the Keim Street Bridge. The bridge links Montgomery and Chester counties, and both counties are involved in the search for the man. First responders noted high water and a strong current. On Sunday night, the damaged green boat was hauled out of the dark water.

Last week, the Board of Supervisors voted to cancel the 70-year tradition, which the township pays for, saying that the township does not have the funding to implement safety improvements. CHESTER, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- A re-dedication ceremony took place this Memorial Day weekend at a historic cemetery in Chester. Guests toured the Old Swedes Burial Ground on Sunday, the final resting place for more than 700 people including at least 8 revolutionary war veterans, and Declaration of Independence signer John Morton. Morton's swing vote broke Pennsylvania's deadlock, in the vote for national independence. Some of his descendants attended the ceremony, including Michael Kirk Stauffer.

Pallbearers fall into burial hole after grave platform collapses

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – Pallbearers fell into their loved one’s grave while carrying his casket at a cemetery in Philadelphia. The incident was caught on camera. Pallbearers are seen carrying the casket of Benjamin Aviles, slowly making their way through Greenmount Cemetery in north Philadelphia last week. As they put down the casket, the wood platform above the burial site collapses, sending the pallbearers and the casket tumbling into the grave.
