Four trustees were in attendance and Billy Bob Merrick abstained from the vote. Trustees Bolin, Harrison, and Willis voted in favor of the action. The meeting agenda introduced the discussion under New Business in this manner: 20 acres behind park.

By Clerk Debbie Stone and Kathy Sands, Editor Three trustees of the Village of Enfield gave the go ahead at last week's board meeting to look into amending the current liquor and gaming ordinance so that Enfield establishments that offer gaming can be open on Sundays. This appears to have all been decided in a closed session with no public input, as the board's agenda for the February meeting had no mention of any discussion of, or change to, the Village's alcohol ordinance.
