We are summering hard here in Florida right now. It’s humid and sunny and it rains everyday at 4pm. ‘Tis the season! I thought I’d share some of my summer favorites today to help get you in the summer mood, too. Here we go… White nails. I am about three years behind on this trend. Bean turned 16 today. Such a milestone birthday. Such an easy person to celebrate! When Bean was little, I used to say to him, “Who are you?” and then he would respond, “Mommy’s WHOOOOOOLE world!” Super big and proud. When Gracie learned to talk, I would say to her, “Who are you?” and she should say, “Mommy’s SUNSHINE!” It’s amazing watching your kids grow up. They continue to be my whole world and the sunshine in my life.

Today was a big day for several reasons. Gracie graduated from middle school. She is headed to high school in the fall, and I am inconsolable. And also completely over the moon excited for her. And also devastated. And also so damn proud of her I could just squeezeherleetlecheeks. Michael went to the dentist by himself. Due to questionable scheduling by his irresponsible parents, neither Chris or I could take him to his dentist appointment today.
