This month, the four of us walked into our new offices at City Hall and began the job of a lifetime: helping Mayor Eric Adams run the most important city on the globe. In our new roles as deputy mayor for health and human services, deputy mayor for housing, economic development, and workforce, deputy mayor for operations, and deputy mayor for public safety, we are helping lead some of our city’s most important agencies and the public servants who power them.
