British athlete Holly Archer competed in the Women's Elite category in London - her first competitive marathon. She achieved a time of two hours and 39 minutes, but some people were more concerned with how the former European Indoor 1500m silver medalist was dressed. Archer, 31, wore small briefs that are known as 'run buns' within the industry.

DONALD TRUMP has moved a step closer to hosting The Open after landing a prestigious tournament at one of his golf courses. The US president is an avid golf fan and owns several courses around the world, from Palm Beach to Scotland to Dubai. He owns a total of 18 golf courses, and one has been picked to host the Scottish Championship between August 7-10. The tournament, which has a $2.75million first prize, will take place at Trump International Golf Links Scotland in Aberdeenshire.

BARCELONA star Inigo Martinez has been accused of spitting at Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi. A brawl was sparked by the incident as Acerbi reacted angrily to his opponent. It came following Hakan Calhanoglu's penalty which put Inter 2-0 up. Martinez tried to distract the Turk before he converted from the spot, according to Marca. That prompted Acerbi to celebrate by running past Martinez, shouting in his face. Martinez is accused of responding by spitting at the Italian.
