    Three Belgian soldiers have been taken to hospital and a dozen others were injured in a “shooting incident” in Scotland. Emergency services were called to reports of three injured military personnel at RAF Tain, in the Highlands, at around 1.25pm on Monday. Belgium’s defence ministry confirmed two men in “serious condition” were airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. A spokesperson said both men have since been stabilised.

    Police are growing “increasingly concerned” for a Renfrewshire man who disappeared on Friday. Brad Girvan, from Johnstone was last seen around 8am on Campsie Drive, near Glasgow Airport. The 32-year-old is described as white, has a thin build, dark hair, a beard and wears round-shaped glasses.  At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a white t-shirt, grey jogging trousers and blue Adidas trainers.

    A total of 32 people have been arrested in connection with Scotland’s “most significant” investigation into ‘gang war’. The feud ignited after properties on Niddrie Marschial Crescent and West Pilton Bank in Edinburgh were targeted by gunmen within 24 hours on March 20 and March 21. However, prior to the shootings, a venue on Albert Street was torched on March 6 and a home was firebombed on March 16.

    Two men have been injured following a stabbing in North Lanarkshire. Emergency services were called to the Glenhove Road area of Cumbernauld following reports of the incident on Thursday. Two men, aged 28 and 20, required treatment for injuries, with one of the men suffering stab-related injuries. An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the disturbance.

    A deliberate vehicle fire in Edinburgh is the latest incident to be linked to an ongoing gang war which has spread across Scotland’s two largest cities. Emergency services were called to Pitcairn Grove in the capital at around 7.45pm following reports of a vehicle on fire. The blaze was extinguished, and no injuries were reported. The incident is being treated as wilful and is believed to be linked to an ongoing criminal feud which began in March.
