    A woman has been charged after two fires were “deliberately” set at a property Fort William. Emergency services were called to reports of the fires at around 7am on May 14, and 12am on May 8, on Kennedy Road area. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the fires, and no one was injured during either incident. A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the fires. She is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

    Concerns are growing for a teenager missing for more than a week, last seen in Falkirk. Cole Cooper was last seen on the A803 Glasgow/Kilsyth Road at the junction with Cumbernauld Road, in Banknock, at around 7pm on May, 7. The 19-year-old was last seen wearing black jogging bottoms and a black puffer-style jacket. Police Scotland said his family and friends are worried about his welfare. The force is urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
