Voting has been "steady" so far today, said Dianne Pierce, precinct clerk for Precinct 2, located in Stuart, Florida. As of 10:15 a.m., 145 people had voted, she said. Any challenges they had they were able to resolve with the Martin County Supervisor of Elections Office.

"I vote all the time," said Stuart resident Alex Ziemkiewicz outside Precinct 2 in Stuart on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, when asked why he voted today. People have to vote if they want a say in what goes on where they live, he said.
