Did you know that verbs aren’t just single words? Some verbs come in sets of two or three words. They call these phrasal verbs. There are THOUSANDS in the English language and you will likely use them more often than you realise! Although we are told in school not to use 'get', it is hugely common. In fact! 'Get' is the 6th most common verb in English, for example, 'get up', 'get in' and 'get through' are all phrasal verbs.

English is the most widely-spoken language in the world, having the distinct status of being the official language of multiple countries. However, there are many varieties of the language with different accents and dialects, all diverse and beautiful. There is also a tendency for people to mix English with their local lingo to form a hybrid variety of English language that is as colourful as the culture in that country.
