AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - A judge sentenced a man to life in prison for the death of a woman and her unborn baby in 2022. According to officials, on Nov. 29, 2022, a witness called 911 to report seeing a body in the parking lot of a gas station. The Amarillo Police Department responded to the call and found the body of 34-year-old Iliana Garza. Officials say Garza was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy later revealed the cause of death to be a stab wound to the neck.
