    AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Potter County Commissioners moved ahead today with plans to replace the former district courts building with parking by early April. They voted to approve plans to spend up to just more than $3 million for the demolition that Senior Project Manager Mike Head said should take 10 months. The start day for the project is June 9. The new parking lot will serve the new district courts building and the historic courthouse downtown on South Fillmore near E. 5th Avenue.

    AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Police Department has released new details on the shooting at the Granite at 34th Apartments on Mother’s Day. According to police, officers responded around 6:52 p.m. to the apartments on several calls of shots fired. Officers arrived to find two men in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. They were taken to an area hospital. During the investigation, officers learned the two men were in the parking lot by their car when another car drove up.
