    Curtis Martin, longtime rancher and supporter of natural resource use in Baker County, is running for Baker County commissioner Position 1 (Bruce Nichols is retiring). Curtis is a past president of the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association. He currently sits on the Baker County Natural Resources Advisory Committee, and has been very involved with the Baker County irrigation districts, and others, in their efforts to obtain reasonable DEQ TMDL regulations for the Powder River Watershed.
