Today will be a much warmer and brighter day as summer heads back to town just in time for the upcoming weekend. Today will also be the warmest day in the Twin Cities in nearly 2 weeks. Some smoke from wildfires in Canada will likely make the sun a bit hazy at times on Saturday and Air Quality alerts will likely be issued. For Sunday and Monday, temperatures will really warm up as afternoon temps jump well into the 80’s to near 90.

Spotty lingering showers will roam about today, but just like the past few days, no steady rain is expected. In fact, there will be a few sunny breaks at times today. Temperatures will warm into the upper 60s and lower 70s today, which is warmer than the past few days. Friday will be even warmer as summer heads back to town just in time for the upcoming weekend. Some smoke from wildfires in Canada may make the sun a bit hazy at times tomorrrow afternoon.

The showers which developed on Tuesday will linger today before clearing and much warmer weather arrives starting Thursday. Today will not be a washout, but a few showers or an isolated afternoon thunderstorm are possible. Sunshine and warmer weather will return on Thursday with just the small chance of an isolated afternoon thunderstorm. Friday will be warmer as summery weather heads back to town in time for the upcoming weekend.

After a beautiful holiday weekend, the rain has returned just in time for back to work and school today. Occasional showers will be possible through the day with an isolated thunderstorm (not severe) possible later this afternoon and early this evening. The shower chance will linger into Wednesday before clearing and much warmer weather arrives later in the week. By the weekend, temperatures will rise into the 80’s once again as another round of summery weather moves our way.

It’s Memorial Day Weekend and it will be rain-free for most of the state. After a sunny start this morning, partial sunshine will return to the area this afternoon. Just like on Thursday, temperatures today will slowly warm into the 60’s. Temperatures will rise into the upper 60’s and lower 70’s starting Saturday and last through the upcoming holiday weekend. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies as well.
