    The Non-Charging, Locking V2 Phone Mount​Editor’s note: With the Holidays approaching, Peak Design reached out to us offering for our review a pair of their newly-created motorcycle mounts for cell phones, one with a built-in phone charger and the other without. Phil G received the charging Qi2 model, which he reviewed last week, and Ken the standard mount without charger. Here are Ken’s comments on the V2 mount.

    A versatile, all-purpose piece of motorcycle luggage​When I had my 2011 Triumph Bonneville America repainted last spring, the bike looked brand new. But the tail bag I’d used since the bike was new was looking a bit shabby and quite faded, and just didn’t look worthy of the rest of the motorcycle. So, I began the arduous search for a new bag. I used to go to the annual Powersports Manufacturers Trade Show, where all the motorcycle brands and distributors would go to display and show of their wares.

    Quality footwear for the street​Three decades ago, when I first began to ride motorcycles, I rode V-Twin cruiser bikes. And not knowing much, I dressed in the clothing I saw other cruiser riders wear . . . leather jacket, jeans, cowboy boots, fingerless gloves, and a helmet. A few months later, a car turned left in front of me, and I skidded to a near stop before gently hitting the car’s front bumper.
