Directv motion stutter on ABC

Has anyone noticed motion stuttering on some ABC shows like the Rookies? This is not a new development as I’ve seen it for some time. I’m not sure if it has something to do with the 60fps frame rate on ABC or if it’s an issue with my DVR.

This issue began about 8 months ago and then, for no apparent reason, stopped for about 6 months. It’s now begun again. Preceding these random shut downs is the image freezing for about 5-10 seconds along with the remote becoming unresponsive. After the spontaneous shutdown, the power light will blink for a few seconds and the display will turn back on. There are no other symptoms or screen anomalies. The issue occurs with any material, be it onboard streaming apps, Directv, etc.

My Travel Kit

#1 · I have to travel and stay light. The travel is for work, so the video is in between. By light I mean, one shoulder bag and one hand-carry suitcase. And by travel I mean multiple cities over short periods of time but for an extended trip. For this I have decided on the SonyRX100 V and the Sony RX100 VI. Why two cameras? Well, that's like asking why two lenses because both cameras offer the same quality but with different lenses.

77” Signature Series LG OLED with approximately 6,000 on time hours. The unit was carefully used with mixed content and no evidence of burn-in. A good test for DR on this clear, brilliantly lit day with stark contrast between the bright sun and deep shade. Of course many shots were indoors, including the new Budgie landing exhibit. Shot with the Nikon 24-200mm lens. Edited in Resolve which is only one of two editing programs that can currently handle these files. The other is my old friend, Edius Pro. Unfortunately FCP is not up to speed on this.
YouTube's 8K retention time

I mentioned this a while back. I haven't found a policy statement from YouTube, but for the long haul they appear to only be keeping and maintaining 8K in the AV1 codec. In other words, you upload your 8K file, YouTube re-encodes it to VP9, let's it play for a finite period in that codec, then depending on unspecified factors will either reencode it to AV1 and allow continued playback in 8K, or if not meeting their standard will drop the 8K support and from then on it's 4K tops.

Does anyone get motion stutter on Fox network shows? Watching shows like Accused, 911 Lone Star or others, results in motion stutter with pans or virtually any kind of action. I’ve rebooted the entire system to no avail. Other channels are unaffected.
