Understanding 4K Resolution. Before diving into features and specifications, it’s essential to understand what 4K means:Native 4K: Offers a resolution of either 4096×2160 or 3840×2160 pixels, delivering incredibly sharp and detailed images. However, some projectors use pixel-shifting technology, where a lower-resolution chip rapidly shifts pixels to simulate a 4K image. While not as crisp as true 4K, pixel-shifting projectors are often more affordable and still produce impressive visuals.

I addressed it by subscribing to the 030 thread. Many people thought the 8801 was going to sound like the Denon 4520 from which it was derived but that turned out wrong, the 8801 was a step above. #1 · Toshiba BDX1200KU can be made regionfree by installing a regionfree firmware. Plays both PAL and NTSC DVD from all regions and blu-ray from all regions. The firmware is originally for the australian model (BDX1200KY), but have been tested with success on an american model (BDX1200KU). The only thing I am not sure of is if you need a PAL capable TV or not. The one who tested it has a TV that supports both PAL and NTSC. It can be obtained from a similar UK forum.

The dark scene demonstrates macrobocking for the panny and once again masquito noise for the Canon. At least that's my less-than-well-educated-about-camcorders impression. I also find the Panasonic to look superior in these samples. The Canon is slightly sharper, but appears to degrade substantially with movement.
