GAMBIER — Four Kenyon students have been named Knowlton Memorial Scholars and awarded Austin E. Knowlton Memorial Scholarships, which support Ohioans interested in mathematics and related fields. This year’s Knowlton Memorial Scholars include a member of each class who comes from all corners of the state. They are first-year Sarah Keller of Brunswick, sophomore Cynthia Stevens of Columbus, junior Jonathan Lee of Cincinnati, and senior Kyle Kelley of Perrysburg. Established in 2014 by the Austin E.

This wing was added to the 1857 house in 2005 to accommodate a fraction of the 800 pieces of physics teaching apparatus that have been given to me by individuals and physics departments for safekeeping.

GAMBIER — It’s not every day that Hollywood gives the star treatment to a political figure who’s been dead for more than 150 years. And yet there he is — Edwin M. Stanton, Kenyon College Class of 1834 — at the center of the Apple TV+ series “Manhunt,” released earlier this year. A pair of campus events will celebrate the series about the hunt for President Abraham Lincoln’s assassin and the role played by Stanton, secretary of war at the time.
