A man has died following a suspected hit-and-run in Dayton recently. On May 29, at approximately 4 p.m., the Lyon County Sheriff's Office received a call about a man in distress near the 700 block of Dayton Valley Rd.Law enforcement and medical personnel responded, and the man was transported to Carson Tahoe Hospital. Hospital staff later informed the sheriff's office that the man's injuries were consistent with a possible hit-and-run.
