    The first time Steve Cordes, BA’84, walked into Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU), he was weeks out of Western. Hearing the non-profit organization would soon be hiring, the sociology grad set up an information interview. “I immediately fell in love with the place,” Cordes said. “I liked the vibe.” That initial visit soon led to a job, where he was charged with landing employment for 65 youth, working with internal staff and seeking out external contacts to make it happen.
