Storm chances have increased for this weekend. Now Saturday looks mainly cloudy with scattered storms between 10A and 6PM and there's another chance for passing storms on Sunday afternoon. We will be in a Storm Mode 2 (0-5 scale) on Saturday meaning there could be issues and you'll want to stay updated with the forecast. Strong winds will be the primary threat with all other threats on the table, but a lower possibility. There will be some dry time mainly in the evening.

Severe storms continue to push their way through Mid-Missouri this evening. The severe threat will continue to decrease past sunset. Strong winds and heavy rain have been the main threat with these storms. There have been several reports of downed power lines, downed trees & tree limbs, water on roadways, and power outages. Avoid downed power lines and do not drive through flooded roadways. Storms have been producing rainfall rates of 1-2" per hour.

Tuesday will see some spotty showers and thunderstorms in the morning then dry time in the early afternoon. The main line of thunderstorms will move through in the evening.

Most of Mid-MO has not reach 90 degrees yet this year! Most cities warmest temps have been in the middle 80s. Today (Wednesday) will be the warmest day this week with the potential for it to be the warmest day of the year so far for some. #midmowx #midmo #mowx https://t.co/9kI9N4DhRZ
