At the end of the 2023-24 high school girls basketball season, Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, Mo.) had the longest active win streak and no one else was even close. At the conclusion of the 2025-26 high school basketball season, North Carolina could have a new leader for longest win streak in state history. Reidsville ended the 2024-25 campaign with the longest active win streak in the nation at 60 games. That includes 31 games this season and 29 in 2023-24. The Rams have won back-to-back Class 2A state titles and return MaxPreps North Carolina Player of the Year Dionte Neal along with fellow all-stater Kendre Harrison.
