MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Senior Bowl officials have announced a new sponsor for their game. Panini America, the world’s largest entertainment and sports collectibles company, according to Senior Bowl officials, will be sponsoring the Senior Bowl and giving it a new name — the Panini Senior Bowl. The 2026 game, the first with the new sponsor, is scheduled for Saturday, Jan.

UPDATE (10:10 a.m.): Prichard Mayor Jimmie Gardner has released a statement on the Wednesday morning shooting that injured a 2-year-old. Mayor Gardner began his statement by recapping what happened and acknowledging the family’s difficult times. “The child was rushed to the hospital and is currently in stable condition. Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with the child and the family during this unimaginably difficult time,” read a portion of the statement.

(Getty Images) Mobile, Ala. -(WKRG)- A two-year-old was shot in the face around 1:00 Wednesday morning on St. Stephens Road, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office. MCSO says the child was in bed with their parents when shots were fired. The child was taken to the hospital. No word on their condition. So far, no arrests have been made.
