Col. Hollis Thurston Dunn (USMC, ret.), age 94, currently of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away peacefully Sunday, March 23, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born on March 2, 1931, in Savannah, Ga., a son of the late Henry and Sarah (Suddath) Dunn. He was united in marriage to Florence Kathryn Pleasants and of this union, four children were born. Growing up in Savannah created a foundation of many memories for Hollis that he spoke about fondly.
