ENID, Okla. — After a slow start, wheat harvest in Oklahoma is gaining traction. Heavy rains earlier this month brought harvest to a halt in many places, but recent hot, dry weather has allowed combines back in the fields. "We had a big delay in harvest, and this week, though, wee made a lot of progress," said Brady Sidwell, president of Enterprise Grain and principal of Sidwell Strategies.
