ENID, Okla. — Enid coach Brad Gore was a little emotional after the 22-14 Plainsmen were eliminated by Broken Arrow 5-2 in the first championship game of the Class 6A Eastern Regional Tournament at David Allen Memorial Ballpark Thursday, May 8, 2025. DUNCAN, Okla — Oklahoma Bible Academy’s qualified their entire tennis team for Friday’s Class 5A state tournament at a regional at Duncan High School Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Reagan Miller took the No. 1 singles title with a 6-1, 6-3 win in the finals. Maddie Edwards was third at No. 2 singles. Caroline Caldwell and Kyndall Ray were fourth at No. 1 doubles. Aaliyah Hopper and Sophia Petka were fourth at No. 2 doubles.

Enid’s Haley Hibbets will go for her elusive 6A No. 1 singles championship at the Class 6A state tennis tournament which begins Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center. 6A singles play begins at 9:30 a.m.Hibbets, who has signed with the University of Central Oklahoma, was second at No. 2 singles as a freshman and was third as a sophomore and fifth as a junior at No. 1 singles. Hibbets was the state middle school champion in 2021.
Chisholm eyes sweep of 3A track titles
