Photo by Perry Knotts/Getty Images The Miami Dolphins began their rookie minicamp yesterday but right before it began, it was announced the team had signed all of their 2025 rookie class besides second round pick, Jonah Savaiinaea. The team had to make some releases ahead of time with the biggest name being long snapper, Blake Ferguson. At least there will be some football to talk about for the time being with the rookies all together.

Photo by Perry Knotts/Getty Images The Miami Dolphins still need plenty of help on the roster if they want to be competitive this upcoming season. The Dolphins mainly need to address their cornerback situation as they will be without their two starting corners from last season in Jalen Ramsey and Kendall Fuller. Rasul Douglas is a name that has been linked to Miami and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him added to the roster sometime soon.

Photo by Carmen Mandato/Getty Images With Deshaun Watson out for the 2025 season, the Cleveland Browns have to find a starting quarterback but thankfully they have enough guys in the room who could be the starter. They brought back Joe Flacco but from the sounds of it, he may be the odd man out after they drafted Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. It will be an interesting competition to keep an eye on this preseason.

Photo by Elsa/Getty Images Tua Tagovailoa is a good quarterback when he is on the field. But that is his main issue. He can’t stay on the field and the Miami Dolphins have suffered when he is not out there. Which is why improving the backup situation was a high priority this offseason. Will it work out? Guess we’ll find out when one of the new guys has to step out on the field.

Photo by Perry Knotts/Getty Images The Miami Dolphins went through a little transformation this offseason. Not only did they get younger, they added more size to their roster through free agency and the draft. The Dolphins first three selections in the draft were two big defensive tackles in Kenneth Grant and Jordan Phillips then added guard Jonah Savaiinaea to an offensive line.
