The move marks the third-straight day of long snapper moves for the team, following Thursday’s release of Blake Ferguson and Friday’s signing of Joe Cardona. Hibbett joined the team as an undrafted free agent this year, signing after last month’s 2025 NFL Draft. He played four years at Alabama.

Ferguson was a sixth-round pick by the Dolphins in 2022, playing five seasons in Miami before his release. He spent half of the 2024 season on the non-football injury list, and it is unclear if the issue has been cleared.
