SIMSBURY — The Hand girls lacrosse team was looking to creep closer in the fourth quarter of Wednesday night’s non-conference game against Simsbury at Holden Field, but Trojan sophomore standout Charlotte Diviney had other ideas. Diviney intercepted a pass outside the Tiger 30-yard line, then bolted past two defenders for a goal, which gave Simsbury a three-goal lead with 4:27 to play. The Trojans went on to win, 12-8. Simsbury, the Class L runner-up, improved to 8-1.
