MILWAUKEE — A child’s body was found in a dumpster on the 5500 block of W. Vliet Street on Thursday. The Milwaukee Police Department is working to make a positive identification of the body, which was found just before 9 a.m. The cause of death is under investigation; however, police said foul play is suspected. Police said a 27-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy are two persons of interest, and noted that this is a fluid and ongoing investigation. This story will be updated.

WISCONSIN — Wisconsin Republican U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden left the U.S. to travel to Israel amid the ongoing House speaker race. Van Orden’s office confirmed Friday that he is in Israel.
