FCC Chairman Brendan Carr announced the “Delete Delete Delete” initiative last month. WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A routine at the Wichita City Council took an unexpected turn Tuesday night when the mayor did not read or sign a proclamation that the council had already approved. The proclamation declares March 31 as Transgender Day of Visibility in Wichita. It states, among other things, that the city values every resident and strives to create an environment where everyone, regardless of gender identity, can thrive, live authentically and feel a sense of belonging.
