The name has come about for very obvious reasons, and many submissions have been named after the person who either invented or at least popularized them. It isn’t entirely surprising that Ryan has managed to create something new either, he’s very well-respected among competitors as one of the sharpest minds in the sport.

It’s a huge achievement for someone so young, as Olivarez has reached the rank at just 18 years old. Polaris has just announced the lineup for the North American team at the Polaris Squads Intercontinental Championship 2025. This is the second team to be fully confirmed, as the promotion revealed the lineup for the European team first. Although that’s only half the teams for the full tournament, these two continents will be going head to head in the first match of the year at Polaris 31 on February 8th, 2025.

Dillon Danis has just signed a contract with Global Fight League (GFL) in order to make his return to professional MMA. It’s a surprising decision from Danis, as it has been quite some time since he competed in the sport.
