Investigations are underway into an incident at a central city Christchurch motel where it is understood there was a stabbing overnight. The city side of Bealey Ave, between Fitzgerald Ave and Madras Street, has been reduced to one lane. A two-car crash has blocked the road on the Christchurch side of the tunnel into Lyttelton. Police were advised of the crash on Tunnel Road, Heathcote Valley, at 3.15pm, which was blocking two lanes.
