A woman was left baffled after looking out her living room window and spotting a group of complete strangers in her garden. Lanna Tolland was enjoying a quiet evening on her sofa in Glasgow in June 2022 when she noticed eight people cheerily waving at her from her front gate. Taken aback by seeing them at the edge of her property, she was "so confused" when the troupe began happily wandering up her path and onto the grass.

A designer baby clothes chain apologised after being accused of "discrimination" over their refusal to accept Scottish bank notes. Adrian, from Scotstoun in Glasgow, was visiting the Trafford Centre in Manchester in June 2022 when he popped into the Kids Cavern to buy a present for his friend's child. Outside the boutique retailer's shopfront, there was a sign stating that they did not take Scottish notes, Glasgow Live reports.

If you're a frequent subway user in Glasgow you may have once wondered where the names of the stops originated from. There are almost a dozen stations on the Clockwork Orange and thanks to the work of Aìnmean Àite na h-Alba (AAA in 2021, subway users can learn all the Gaelic names for our favourite spots. In 2021 the subway stations were adapted into Gaelic in a bid to protect and promote use of the language in Glasgow and offer a visual snapshot of Gaelic history in the city.
