Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé senior Nick Iverson had a relaxing weekend run in Anchorage — two, in fact. Iverson ran away with two state titles during the ASAA/First National Bank Alaska Track and Field State Championships over the weekend, winning the 1,600 meters in a personal record 4:22.29 and the 800 meters in 1 minute 57.57 seconds. “I am kind of glad to have my two main ones over with,” Iverson said.

The Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé Crimson Bears boys soccer season came to an end at the 2025 ASAA/First National Bank Soccer State Championships consolation game for third or fifth place on Saturday at Colony High School in a 5-0 loss to the pre-tournament favorite Knights. In the tournament’s championship game the West Anchorage Eagles defeated the West Valley Wolfpack 2-1 for the state title.

The Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé Crimson Bears baseball team finished the Region V Baseball Tournament at Ketchikan’s Norman Walker Field with a 2-2 record and punched their ticket to the state championships next weekend in Anchorage.

The Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé Crimson Bears softball team made a solid showing at the Railbelt Conference Tournament in Fairbanks, posting a 2-2 record and falling in the championship game to the Colony Knights on Saturday 10-8. “We won enough games to qualify for state,” JDHS coach Lexi Razor said on Saturday.
