CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago White have placed and outfielder Mike Tauchman on the 10-day injured list. The team announced the moves prior to its series finale at Cleveland on Thursday. Lee has a sprained left ankle and Tauchman is back on the IL for the second time this season with a strained right hamstring. In corresponding moves, Chicago added outfielder Joshua Palacios from Triple-A Charlotte and catcher Omar Narváez from Double-A Birmingham. Right-hander Juan Carela also was released.
