In the premiere episode, the team introduces themselves to viewers and shares what brought them to the Quad Cities — from hometown roots to cross-country moves. “I just wanted to start somewhere and get my feet under me,” said Jonah Krell, who moved from Arizona after working in sports radio.

    DAVENPORT, Iowa — Tuesday marked the opening night for what USA Today has dubbed the Best Minor League Ballpark in America. The Quad Cities River Bandits opened up a six-game home stand against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Modern Woodmen Park. The Bandits fell to the Rattlers 4-0during the first game.
