WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - We are cloudy this afternoon with a few areas of mist. As we head into the evening hours, we will likely see a couple of breaks in the clouds, but we will remain cool. Friday rain chances will increase throughout the day with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Rain showers will slowly come to an end on Saturday as highs reach the lower 60s. Sunday is looking like a sunny, dry day. 7News Meteorologist Kris Hudson has the latest forecast. Copyright 2025 WWNY.

WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - We have a few showers out there this afternoon, and more rain is in the forecast overnight. The rest of the afternoon and evening, we will have a low-end chance of a few thunderstorms as more rain moves in. Locally heavy rain this evening and overnight could lead to some flash flooding, mainly in Jefferson County. We will once again see a few showers on Wednesday. It won’t be until this weekend that rain chances drop off and we start to warm up.

A few scattered showers can’t be ruled out today, but the rest of the afternoon and evening will be mainly dry. Rain will return Saturday morning and become more scattered in nature by the afternoon. WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - We have been mostly sunny today, but clouds are starting to build in this afternoon. Rain chances will increase by this evening as a line of showers moves through. Friday will keep the chance of rain in for forecast as we see scattered showers throughout the day. Highs on Friday will top out in the upper 60s. While we will see rain chances just about every day this next week, it doesn’t look like any day will be a total washout.
