By Kristen Hainkel Staff Reporter VINCENT-Warren Local School District Board of Education voted to accept resignations of Warren High School’s principal and assistant principal during their monthly meeting Tuesday. High School Principal Ryan Lemley will resign effective May 2 and become the director of operations at Belpre City Schools next school year. Assistant principal Kara Pinkerton is taking a job at Eastern High School in Brown County.

Mayor Josh Schlicher said streets on the west and south areas were closed for cleanup and debris removal. Gilman Avenue, Virginia Street, South Fifth Street, and South Seventh Street were closed for water levels over the weekend. The city announced via Facebook Monday afternoon that Gilman Avenue and Virginia Street were open.

The Stations of the Cross is a collaboration of several downtown Parkersburg churches honoring Jesus Christ’s journey from being sentenced to death on Friday to rising to heaven on Sunday. A program detailing 14 moments during that time was distributed to participants.
