    MALTA, N.Y. (WTEN) — A Malta man was fatally shot by New York State Police troopers after he allegedly fired rounds at the NYSP Saratoga Barracks. The incident began around 1:43 p.m. Wednesday when troopers inside the barracks heard gunfire outside the station. Police said David Levine, 69, of Malta, was standing in the barracks parking lot with a long gun. Troopers issued multiple commands to drop the weapon; however, they said Levine pointed the gun at police.

    MOHAWK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Johnstown man has been arrested following multiple larcenies throughout Montgomery County and other areas, New York State Police reported on Tuesday. Ricky Hemstreet II, 26, faces multiple charges. On Thursday night, a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy reportedly observed a suspicious vehicle along the CSX Railway near State Highway 5 and Switzer Hill Road in the town of Mohawk.

    MALTA, N.Y. (WTEN) — A suspect is reportedly dead following an alleged shots fired incident at the New York State Police Saratoga Barracks in Malta on Wednesday. According to officials, the incident occurred at around 1:43 p.m.According to State Police, a male individual arrived at the State Police Malta facility on Route 9 with a hunting-style rifle and allegedly fired several rounds at the barracks.

    COHOES, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A documentary film about ’80s Albany-based band Blotto will premiere in Cohoes this weekend. The film, called “Hello! My Name Is Blotto — The Movie!” will be shown on Saturday at Cohoes Music Hall. The documentary, produced by Rob Lichter — AKA Bert Blotto — chronicles the career of the upstate New York rock band.
