BOXSCOREThe Cowboys took care of business again on Sunday, leading to their second series sweep of the season. Oklahoma State defeated UCF 10-6 at O’Brate Stadium. The Pokes led 6-0 after three and held a 10-2 edge going into the eighth before the Knights attempted a rally. Brock Thompson (1-for-3), Colin Brueggemann (2-for-4) and Jayson Jones (2-for-4) and all went yard early, creating a big lead the Knights weren’t able to overcome.

The Cowboys and Sooners will square off again in OKC. Oklahoma State and Oklahoma are set to square off Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Paycom Center in OKC, according to a report by college hoops insider Jon Rothstein. The Cowboys and Sooners rekindled their rivalry at about the same time last year, with OSU falling to then No. 13 Oklahoma 80-65 on Dec. 14 at Paycom. OSU would go on to finish 17-18 in Steve Lutz’s first year after a third-round exit in the NIT.

The former All-American and OSU sack leader has found a new home. One that is, relatively, not far away. Emmanuel Ogbah signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The veteran DE spent the last five years with the Miami Dolphins (just a five or so hour drive south).
