The Big 12 revenge tour starts at home. By the way, the Cowboys went winless in conference last season so the revenge tour will be extensive. Oklahoma State kicks off its Big 12 slate in late September with a visit from Baylor. Talk about teams going in different directions last year. Baylor struggled from the start of 2024 only to click into gear and finish 2024 hot. OSU at least survived the noncon 3-0 but then went all Ls the last two and a half months of the year.

A historic season yields plenty of hardware. Oklahoma State men’s golf head coach Alan Bratton was announced as the Big 12 Coach of the Year and sophomore Ethan Fang was named the conference’s Newcomer of the Year on Thursday. The continued success of Oklahoma State’s baseball and softball teams means that a good season is viewed as so-so. It’s a good problem to have if you’re an OSU fan. Both the Cowboys and Cowgirls were picked to finish first in the Big 12. Baseball finished seventh in the league, but that took a heroic comeback after the Pokes started 1-6 in conference play. They had to win eight of their last nine just to help punch their ticket to the regional level.
