    Football season is getting ever closer, as the Cowboys found out kick times for their opening three games of the 2025 season. Oklahoma State’s season opener against UT-Martin is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 28 (a Thursday) on ESPN+. The Cowboys’ highly anticipated game against Oregon will kick at 2:30 p.m. (CT) on Sept. 6 on CBS. Then OSU’s Week 3 contest against Tulsa will kick at 6 p.m. Sept. 19 (a Friday) on ESPN.

    Make it a dozen NCAA titles for the Cowboys, and this one was won with a young group. Oklahoma State beat Virginia on Wednesday at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in the national final. The Cowboys won three matches, lost one and were leading in the other when the win was secured. OSU’s title-winning quintet features three sophomores and a freshman. Sophomore Eric Lee pulled through for the Cowboys in Tuesday night’s semifinal, and he clinched the national title Wednesday.

    STILLWATER — There isn’t another pitching staff heading to the Athens Regional that is as hot as the Cowboys’. Oklahoma State is 9-2 in the month of May entering this weekend’s NCAA Regional that also features Georgia, Duke and Binghamton. That marks a better winning percentage this month than the other three teams in the Regional, and much of that can be credited to OSU’s hurlers.
