The calendar now sits on June 2nd, which is cause for celebration for several franchises across the NFL. The June 1st threshold is an unofficial holiday for teams, as players cut with a post-June 1st designation will now, finally, provide their respective teams with much-needed salary cap relief. The Baltimore Ravens are among the teams enjoying some extra spending power this morning. Teams can designate up to two players as post-June 1 cuts.
